Terms of use

These terms are a v1 summary written for clarity. Deavo is operated in Canada as an advertising and listings platform.

What Deavo is

Deavo advertises businesses for sale and connects buyers and sellers. We are not a business broker: we do not represent either party, provide advice on a transaction, or take a success fee. Any agreement to buy or sell is solely between the buyer and the seller.

Your account

• You must provide accurate information and keep your credentials secure.
• You may not post misleading, fraudulent, or unlawful listings, or impersonate anyone.
• We screen listings and may suspend or remove listings or accounts that breach these terms.

Content you upload

• You warrant that you own or have the rights to any photos, text, and other content you upload, and that it does not infringe anyone's intellectual-property, trademark, or privacy rights.
• Do not upload a business's brand, franchise, or third-party imagery unless you hold the rights to it. Deavo does not source or host brand imagery; listings without an uploaded photo show a generic, illustrative placeholder that is not a photo of the business.
• You grant Deavo a licence to display your uploaded content on the platform for the purpose of advertising your listing.

Confidentiality & NDAs

Confidential details are released only after a click-to-sign NDA and seller approval. If you receive confidential information, you agree to use it solely to evaluate the opportunity and to keep it confidential, per the NDA you sign (see the NDA terms).

No warranty; no advice

Listings, valuation estimates, and the intelligence panel are provided for general information only, are not verified appraisals, and are not financial, tax, or legal advice. Do your own due diligence and consult qualified professionals before acting.
