Can business brokers use Deavo?
Yes. Business brokers can list the businesses they represent on Deavo the same way any seller can, at no cost, and doing so does not replace or change their existing listing agreement or commission with the seller. Deavo treats brokers as a supply source and a partner, not as a competitor.
Deavo is built around brokers as a core part of who uses the platform, not as an afterthought. A broker managing an active listing can use Deavo as an additional channel to reach buyers, alongside whatever else they are already doing to market a sale.
Why brokers are treated as partners, not competitors
Deavo is a listings and advertising platform, not a brokerage, and it never represents either side of a transaction or takes a fee from a deal. Because of that, a broker’s role and Deavo’s role do not overlap or compete: a broker actively markets, screens and negotiates on behalf of a client, while Deavo simply gives that listing more visibility.
How listing on Deavo affects an existing broker agreement
A broker’s listing agreement with their client, including its commission and terms, continues to apply exactly as written. Publishing the same listing on Deavo does not create a separate fee, does not require the seller to pay Deavo anything, and does not give Deavo any role in the transaction the broker is running.
What a broker gets from listing on Deavo
The main benefit is reach beyond the broker’s own network and usual channels, at no additional cost to the broker or the seller. A listing still goes through Deavo’s own screening and follows the same blind-listing and non-disclosure rules as any other, which brokers may already recognize from how they manage confidentiality themselves.
What stays the broker’s responsibility
Deavo does not draft marketing materials, screen buyers on the broker’s behalf, or take part in negotiation, so all of that work stays with the broker exactly as it would without Deavo in the picture. Using the platform adds a channel; it does not change who is actually running the sale.
