Buying an existing Panago location
Panago offers “choice existing stores for sale” to applicants who contact it, and the listings below include resales advertised by current franchisees as well as new-store openings advertised by the franchisor — each card says which. A resale is bought from the franchisee, but the franchisor still approves the buyer, usually charges a transfer fee, and may require the store to meet its current build standard before closing. See who has to approve a franchise resale and what a transfer fee is.
Training and opening
Panago describes “an intensive five-week training program of four weeks of hands-on, in-store training… followed by one week of management training” (as published, read Oct 20, 2026). That programme is written for a new franchisee opening a store; whether a resale buyer repeats all of it is the franchisor’s call — does buying a resale require retraining?
Financing
Panago says its development team “is equipped to arrange the best financing available” through “some of the country’s most respected lending institutions”, and names none. Where Panago is expanding
Panago’s “Available Area” list names about 33 British Columbia towns, then Alberta and Ontario communities. Deavo’s Panago listings on Oct 20, 2026 were in Alberta (11), British Columbia (4), Ontario (3) and Saskatchewan (1). The full published list is on Panago’s opportunities page, cited below.
Disclosure law where Panago is listed
All four provinces with Panago listings have franchise disclosure statutes. Late or missing disclosure can give a buyer a statutory right to rescind, and that right runs on a deadline. The disclosure document is also where the royalty and advertising rates Panago’s cost page does not publish are set out, and the clock on the rescission right starts from the day you actually receive it, so keep that date.
