Drama Kids franchise locations

Drama Kids says it “offers Franchise Opportunities in all Canadian Provinces” (as published, read Oct 22, 2026). It publishes no town-by-town list of available territories. Deavo’s Drama Kids listings on Oct 20, 2026 were in Ontario (10), Alberta (2), British Columbia (1) and Manitoba (1), and they are the franchisor’s new-location advertisements, not resales.

What Drama Kids says about where it is available

The franchise page says: “Launch your new Academy with exclusive territory rights in your community” and that Drama Kids Canada “offers Franchise Opportunities in all Canadian Provinces” (as published, read Oct 22, 2026). The enquiry form asks the applicant to pick a “Province of Interest” from a list of the ten provinces, the Northwest Territories and Nunavut. The page gives no list of open or taken territories, so whether a particular community is still available is something to ask Drama Kids directly.

Drama Kids’ listings on Deavo, by province

On Oct 20, 2026, Deavo’s Drama Kids listings were in Ontario (10), Alberta (2), British Columbia (1) and Manitoba (1). A count of listings is a count of advertisements, not of operating academies, and one province showing more listings than another says nothing about which territories are open.

What each listing is

Each Drama Kids listing is a new-location advertisement placed for the franchisor. A buyer would sign a new franchise agreement for a territory, not take over a running business, and the price on the card is an investment figure supplied by the advertiser, not a seller’s asking price. The territory is described by Drama Kids as exclusive, and the page does not say how large a territory is or how its boundaries are set.

Questions to put to Drama Kids before you rely on a territory

Ask for the territory in writing, with its boundaries. Ask whether another franchisee or the franchisor itself may operate in it. Ask what the fee covers and what the disclosure document says about renewal, because the pages we read publish no term.

Disclosure law in these provinces

All four provinces with Drama Kids listings have franchise disclosure statutes. In Ontario, Alberta, British Columbia and Manitoba, where the statute’s disclosure rule applies, you must receive the franchisor’s disclosure document at least 14 days before the earlier of signing any agreement relating to the franchise and paying any consideration relating to the franchise; each Act defines both steps and sets out exceptions, including certain deposits. Whether it applies to a particular offer depends on the facts and is a question for a franchise lawyer.
