A row marked “Not published” means the figure was not on the page we read — not that there is no such fee.

What the fee covers

The page puts the fee on a line of its own under “Your Franchise”, beside an exclusive territory, curriculum, teaching and training, and mentor support for the first year of operation. It does not say which of these the fee pays for, so ask. The wording “plus working capital +GST” means the fee is not the whole amount: working capital and GST come on top, and the page gives no figure for either.

What the Deavo listing prices are

Drama Kids’ listings on Deavo are the franchisor’s new-location advertisements, not resales. Any price shown on a card is an investment figure supplied by the advertiser, not an asking price for a trading academy and not a valuation. Deavo therefore publishes no asking-price median for the brand. For the amount Drama Kids itself asks, rely on the franchisor’s page and the disclosure document, not the card.

Royalty and advertising

Neither rate is on the pages we read. In Ontario, Alberta, British Columbia and Manitoba, where the franchise statute’s disclosure rule applies, you must receive the franchisor’s disclosure document at least 14 days before the earlier of signing any agreement relating to the franchise and paying any consideration relating to the franchise (each Act defines both steps and sets out exceptions, including certain deposits). Ask Drama Kids for both rates and read the fee terms in that document before relying on any figure here. See what a franchisor must disclose before you sign.

Financing a Drama Kids franchise

Drama Kids says it will support a franchisee’s search for loan funding. It names no lender and publishes no lending programme. For how Canadian franchise purchases are financed in general, see can a franchise purchase be financed?

About the Canadian Franchise Association listing

CFA’s directory lists Drama Kids Canada Inc. as a member since 2024. CFA’s directory figures do not always match franchisors’ own pages, so this page quotes the franchisor and uses CFA for membership only. The membership year is the one fact this page takes from the directory.

No asking-price figure is published for this brandDeavo lists 14 Drama Kids listings, 14 with an asking price, but fewer than 15 distinct resales remain once franchisor new-store openings and the same store advertised on several sites are set aside. Deavo publishes a figure only where at least 15 listings stand behind it. The listings themselves are on the Drama Kids brand page.
