Where Eggsmart is expanding
Eggsmart’s opportunities page lists “Available Markets” in Ontario, Alberta, British Columbia, Nova Scotia, Newfoundland, Manitoba and Saskatchewan (as published, read Oct 22, 2026). Deavo’s Eggsmart listings on Oct 20, 2026 were in Ontario (3). The list names markets, not secured sites.
Eggsmart is a trademark of its owner. Deavo is not affiliated with or endorsed by Eggsmart; the name identifies the businesses listed for sale. Figures are quoted from the franchisor’s own pages and are not verified by Deavo.
The markets Eggsmart lists
Ontario: Hamilton, Burlington, Sault Ste. Marie, Sudbury, Ottawa, Kingston, Pickering, Belleville, Orangeville, Cambridge, Waterloo, London, Windsor, Richmond Hill, Toronto and Sutton. Alberta: Edmonton, Calgary and Grand Prairies, as spelled on the page. British Columbia: Vancouver and Kelowna. Nova Scotia: Halifax. Newfoundland: St. John. Manitoba: Winnipeg and Brandon. Saskatchewan: Saskatoon, Regina, Yorkton and Moose Jaw. That is the list as published; Eggsmart does not say how many sites it seeks in each.
Listed markets are not open sites
Eggsmart’s FAQ says it is “actively seeking prime locations”, that in certain instances a franchisee may choose a location, which must be evaluated and approved by Eggsmart, and that construction will be conducted by Eggsmart management. The list does not say that a site has been secured in any of those towns. Eggsmart’s opportunities page also lists two existing stores separately, in Toronto and Whitby.
Where Deavo has Eggsmart listings
Deavo’s Eggsmart listings on Oct 20, 2026 were in Ontario (3). Eggsmart’s “over 45 locations” is its own statement on the page read, and Deavo’s count is only the Eggsmart listings advertised here. The cards say whether each is a resale or a new-location advertisement.
Franchise law in the listed provinces
All one provinces with Eggsmart listings have franchise disclosure statutes. Alberta, British Columbia, Manitoba and Saskatchewan, which also appear on Eggsmart’s list, each have a franchise statute (cited below), so a buyer there should ask for the franchise disclosure document and keep the date it arrives. See what disclosure a resale buyer gets and who has to approve a franchise resale.
Each statute sets out its own exemptions and deadlines, and a franchise lawyer in the province where the restaurant is located can say which applies to a given sale. This page records what Eggsmart published; it does not tell you whether a market is right for you.
