The areas Fatburger Canada lists
The page we read names six entries under “locations available”: Whitehorse, YT; Fort St. John, BC; Mississauga, ON (spelled “Missisauga” on the page); Belvedere, Calgary, AB; Desrochers, Edmonton, AB; and All Ontario. The page shows no map, no dates and no sizes or site types, and it does not say whether any listed area is already taken. It is a franchisor’s marketing list as read on Oct 22, 2026, so confirm any area directly with Fatburger Canada before relying on it.
Beside what Deavo lists
Deavo’s 3 Fatburger listings on Oct 20, 2026 were in Alberta (1), British Columbia (1) and Ontario (1). A listing on Deavo is an advertisement by an owner, a broker or the franchisor, not a statement that an area is open, and not every available area on the franchisor’s page will have a listing. The counts come from our brand export and move as the listings change.
Where Fatburger says it wants to go
Fatburger Canada says it prefers to locate restaurants in “metro & urban mixed use developments and suburban retail centres”, that it intends to continue development in the West, and that it wants to “further introduce Fatburger to Eastern Canada and the Maritime provinces”. It also says there are about 70 locations in Canada, mostly from BC to AB, MB and SK, and that it opened in Barrie, Ontario, in 2025 with more Ontario locations underway. These are the franchisor’s plans, not commitments.
Disclosure law in the provinces involved
All three provinces with Fatburger listings have franchise disclosure statutes. Where a statute applies, the franchisor must give you a disclosure document at least 14 days before you sign an agreement or pay, whichever is earlier. Territories and provinces differ, so which rules govern an area on this list depends on where it is. For the costs Fatburger publishes, see Fatburger franchise costs and fees, and for what a resale buyer should ask about approval, see who has to approve a franchise resale.
